Jetcomm at Dscoop Phoenix 2017
After months of planning, the big event finally happened, and what an event it was! Jetcomm @ Dscoop, held in Phoenix March 1-2, was a terrific success, with 14 info-packed sessions, a riveting Q&A panel, and plenty of networking.
Things got started with a look towards the future with Eric Wiesner, General Manager, HP PageWide Industrial, followed by a State of the Union review on the status of production inkjet with Marco Boer, VP of IT Strategies. Informative break-out sessions delved into topics such as profitable applications, variables around variable data for direct mail, workflow optimization, and technical advancements in inkjet technology.
Participants then got to take advantage of the overlap with Dscoop, attending the entertaining keynote address by Billy Beane, the EVP of baseball operations for the Oakland A’s. After that came a few more sessions on best practices for testing inkjet coated papers and the digital transformation of supply chain economics, followed by a magical outdoor party in the evening.
But beyond the agenda, what was most impressive was our incredibly talented HP PageWide Web Press customers who joined us there, shared their knowledge and experience, and inspired us all. In addition to being the backbone of the Jetcomm community, they have shown us what the power of inkjet can do, printing at an astounding run rate of 5 billion pages per month!
